Figure Competitor Lauren Beckham

Lauren Beckham was born August 6, 1984 in Southern California.  The family moved to Boise, Idaho when she was only nine years old.  Lauren began weight lifting at age sixteen, by age nineteen she had won several local female figure competitions.  Lauren had become best known as an NPC Amateur (national physique committee) female figure competitor.  In addition, at an early age she appeared as a fitness figure model.  She recently appeared in an International muscle magazine publication.

Although Lauren Beckham currently competes at the regional amateur level with the National Physique Committee, she has hopes to one day compete professionally within the IFBB, which will better enable her to be an inspiration to other women across the nation.   As part of her ultimate goal, Lauren follows a strict weight training routine.  She is married and is the mother of a wonderful baby boy.  Lauren seeks to be a positive example to women – both young and mature.  Lauren is committed to attaining her goals without giving into the constant pressure to compromise; a pressure placed on many women in the fitness industry and society in general.  At 5'9", Lauren is one of the tallest women currently competing in figure contests.
